1. Who We Are

These Terms & Conditions and Terms of Sale (“Terms”) apply to your use of our website and services provided by Cell Phone Recycling Solutions (“CRS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Our services include:

  • Providing online quotes for used phones and smart devices
  • In-person purchasing of devices for cash or electronic payment
  • Appointment scheduling for in-person visits
  • Optional device data wipe (not guaranteed)

By using our website, submitting a quote request, booking an appointment, or selling a device to us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To sell a device to CRS, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be the legal owner of the device or fully authorized to sell it
  • Provide true and accurate information about yourself and your device
  • Present a valid government-issued ID when requested

We may refuse service or cancel a transaction at our discretion.

3. How Our Quotes Work

  • Online quotes are estimates only, based on the information you provide.
  • Final pricing is determined after in-person physical inspection.
  • Quotes expire after 3 calendar days.
  • If the actual condition, model, or status differs from what was submitted online, CRS may adjust the offer or decline to purchase.

You are never required to accept our offer. If you decline, the transaction simply ends.

4. Appointments & Check-In

  • We operate primarily by appointment only.
  • Appointments may be booked online or by contacting us directly.
  • We may reschedule or cancel appointments due to operational needs or safety.
  • Please bring your device, charger (if applicable), and a valid ID.

5. Device Condition, Ownership & Fraud Prevention

By presenting a device to CRS, you confirm that:

  • You are the rightful owner or authorized to sell the device.
  • The device is not stolen, lost, or obtained through fraud.
  • All information provided about the device is accurate.

CRS reserves the right to:

  • Decline to purchase any device
  • Request proof of ownership
  • Cooperate with law enforcement when appropriate

6. Apple ID / Google Lock Requirements

Before completing a purchase, you must remove:

  • Apple ID or iCloud activation lock
  • Find My iPhone
  • Google account locks
  • Any PIN, password, or pattern locks

If a device cannot be unlocked or reset, CRS may adjust the offer or decline to purchase.

7. Data, Privacy & Device Wipe

You are responsible for backing up and erasing your data.

  • Customers should back up data and log out of accounts before visiting.
  • CRS may assist with a reset as a courtesy but does not guarantee data removal.
  • CRS is not responsible for any personal data that remains on the device.

By selling a device to CRS, you release CRS from any claims related to data stored on the device.

8. Payment & Final Sale

Once you accept our final offer and we complete inspection, payment will be issued by:

  • Cash
  • Zelle
  • CashApp
  • PayPal

After payment is delivered and the device is handed over, the sale is final. CRS is not responsible for incorrect payment information provided by the customer.

9. No Online Sales of Devices

CRS currently uses the website to purchase devices from customers. We do not sell devices online through this website. If this changes, these Terms may be updated.

10. Communications, SMS & Email

By submitting a quote or booking an appointment, you agree that CRS may contact you by phone, SMS, or email for scheduling, quote updates, or follow-up messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply “STOP” to opt out of marketing texts.

11. Website Use

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Interfere with site security or functionality
  • Use bots, scraping tools, or automation without permission
  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose

12. No Warranties

Our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available”. CRS does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law:

  • CRS is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • CRS is not responsible for data loss, lost profits, or issues arising from future use of a device after sale.
  • CRS’s total liability will not exceed the amount paid to you for your device.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last Updated” date will reflect any changes. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law & Venue (Texas Only)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute not resolved informally will be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
