Sometimes it feels like you are between the devil and the deep blue sea and both are really just the same when you think of the outcomes. This may be the general reaction when you compare iPhone 8 plus with iPhone X. Though they are of different brands, they do have a lot of similarities. Apple does not make it easy either. Releasing two different brands as opposed to two sizes of the same brand took things to a whole new level. Let’s take a look at some features.

If you’re the type that loves to have your phone on at all times, the battery life of iPhone 8 is much longer with video streaming and online internet use. It has wireless charging and of course a fast charge with up to 50 percent in just one hour. So iPhone 8 plus has about 21 hours talk time, 13 hour’s internet use, 14 hour’s video playback and 60 hours of audio playback. It is not so different from the iPhone X which has 12 hour’s internet use and 13 hours of video playback.

People mostly buy phones for their picture quality and the camera. So iPhone 8 Plus has a dual-camera lens on the back with optical image stabilization. This is probably the only difference it has with the iPhone X which has dual image optimization on both lenses. It is a 12-megapixel camera with flash and portrait lighting among other features. The iPhone 8 Plus also has a 7 megapixel facetime camera in front.
Performance
When it comes to their performance, you should not necessarily expect them to be worlds apart since they have the same processor being Apple. Both brands have engines which allow artificial intelligence processing on the phone. On the whole, they are both similar in their performance.
Display
One of the ways to spot the difference between the two products is the screen display. While iPhone 8 plus has a home button on the chin with a bezel, the iPhone X has none of these which creates a perfect illusion. So it has a much larger screen display than the iPhone 8 plus.
iphone 8 Price
Without further ado, you’d know that the iPhone X is the most expensive as it is the newest brand. It is Apple’s iPhone that cost a thousand dollars unapologetically. However, being that it shares a lot of similarities with the iPhone 8 plus, you could say that the iPhone 8 plus is good for its price. It is also easier to find the latter than the former.
Making a choice as to which one to buy can be a futile act seeing they are much alike, however, if you have a budget to work with and are coming from a background of iPhone 6, you should probably get an iPhone 8 plus. Because nothing beats the satisfaction that accompanies a proud and worthwhile decision.
